Rainy season in Thailand is gonna over soon. Does our group have any plan for white water rafting? I wanna go Tee Lor Su water fall (biggest water fall in Asia) in Aum Pang (Tak province) never been there but heard of the tough.

Pong Nam Rong in Chantaburi and Na Di in Kabinburi are two good locations, if anyone needs details please let me know. I will be visiting both with some friends this month. If you can get a small group (6 to 8 people) I can help to arrange either accomadation or camping facilaities with the resort. I wont be avialable for next months outing unfortunately.

Regards

At last the wet season has arrived.

Block out the weekend of September 12th and 13th because we're going rafting and camping in Khao Yai.

Everything has been arranged for you so there is nothing left to worry about. There will be rafting, camping, jungle walks, BBQs and relaxing by the pool. All the transport and food has also already been taken care of.

Over the course of the weekend we will also be doing some serious good for the local environment. Working with Plant-A-Tree-Today we will be supporting the plantation of 500 native trees as part of an ongoing reforestation project as well as supporting the work of two local charities.

The total price for everything is just Bt 2,800. The only catch is that there are only 45 places.

For further information and to book your place contact info@plant-a-tree-today.org

P.S For those that fancy it there will also be the opportunity to go wine tasting for a small extra fee.

P.P.S For those wanting a bit more luxury there is the opportunity to stay inside the hotel. Our campsite is actually inside the Cabbages and Condoms resort http://www.pda.or.th/saptai/index.html. If you choose this option you will need to book and pay for your own accommodation and you will only need to pay Bt 2,500 for the transport, food, rafting etc. Personally I'm up for the camping adventure!

Agreed. Unfortauntely, rafting is going to have to be an activity later in the year. I am still planning to go to Khao Yai w/e 7th but it will be for a reccy for an activity packed weekend later in the year. I have been recommended a venue that I'd like to see called ChateuxdeKhaoYai and I would also like to see what's on in the surrounding area. If anyone fanices joining then they would be more than welcome as I'm sure we'll find somewhere for a cycle, mini trek, throw a disk etc. Let me know if you're interested and as soon as I book somewhere to stay I'll pass on the details

Not sure if the water level is too good this time of the year, where did you think of going?

Hello All,
Still looking to recruit a group of individuals for an ultimate frisbee, rafting and camping weekend in Khao Yai. The plan was to arrange this for the weekend of February 7th.

Further to a suggestion from one of the Ultimate Frisbee group, Sports Network are looking to arrange a Ultimate Frisbee, Rafting and Camping weekend in Khao Yai. It will probably be the weekend of the 7th February. If you fancy trying something different just block out your diaries and await event info!!

Good idea. I can think of at least another three that may be interested. A teachers half term/long weekend could be a good time? I will nudge the three I think could be interested.

with 5 five members, perhaps we could begin discussions on organising one of these trips?

This is an activity I'd really love to learn more about and share info with others.
